The Woodland Pytchley Hunt is a fox hunting organisation based in Northamptonshire. The Pytchley Hunt country used to include areas of the Rockingham Forest but was split to form the Woodland Pytchley Hunt.
In 1931 it became an entirely independent hunt.
In 2005, hunting with dogs was banned, however the hunt continues to exist.
The Woodland Pytchley hunt country covers about 20 miles East to West and 18 miles North to South. The furthest point to the North West is Market Harborough. The village of Bulwick is the furthest point to the East where it borders the Fitzwilliam and Cottesmore hunts, and Irthlingborough is the furthest point south.
